Immigration is a fundamental part of London’s history.
This film looks at what it was like for different types of immigrants arriving around the 1960s and the conditions they lived with. It centres around a townhouse in North London which would have been converted into bedsits and rented to immigrants having difficulty finding housing, often with a few families to each floor.
The film is a mixture of 2D and 3D sets, all drawn and animated by hand.
Stopmotion filmed in Dragon, edited in FCP.
Made for my Third Year FMP at UCA Maidstone.
